This month, Simply Canvas toasts Mary Beth North of North Star Photography. 

Mary Beth brings over a dozen years experience to her clients, specializing in families, graduates and child portraiture.  In affiliation with her husband Chad, who handles much of the weddings and other event photography, they are able to offer their clients a broad range of professional product.  Their clientele have come to expect high quality from North Star Photography whether it’s a memorable family moment or simply the family pet. 

This past year North Star Photography began their partnership with Simply Canvas and is excited to have added gallery-wrapped canvases to the choices they offer.  Their previous experience with canvas was minimal and under-impressive, so when they began working with Simply Canvas, they were quickly and pleasantly surprised. 

North Star Photography has just wrapped up their second year with “Motorcycles & Martinis”, an annual charity event featuring a custom bike design contest and silent auction which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  When Mary Beth decided to get involved with the event again this year, she knew her partnership with Simply Canvas would prove beneficial.  Mary Beth photographed each entrant’s bike and awarded the grand prize winner with a 24” x 30” gallery-wrapped canvas of their prized possession.  To add to the excitement, on display at the gala event were several large stretched canvas photos from her collection.  Attendants could see first hand her impressive work and she was able to promote both her photography as well as her quality canvases. 

As of late September the silent auction portion of “Motorcycles & Martinis”, to which Mary Beth contributed an extensive studio package, had raised close to $11,000 for the cause.

Mary Beth and her husband began North Star Photography in 1996.  They reside in Florida with their two young children.  She is currently gearing up for the holiday season. Simply Canvas looks forward to a continued business partnership with Mary Beth and North Star Photography.
